UPDATE: Many thanks to all who turned out last Sunday for what proved to be a great game of rugby.
Junior Rugby gave the Golden Oldies (the next generation) a great game and the one-sided scoreline in no way reflected what was a tightly contested game. The offloading and champagne rugby belied the turkey & drink consumed by many! Golden Oldies ran out as comfortable winners.
Thanks also to the Women’s Team for participating in the mixed tag game. We were delighted to see former Ireland Captain Fiona Coughlan participate. Women’s rugby is growing and going from strength to strength in the club.
Next fixture to be pencilled in to the diary is a GO fixture before the Ireland v France Six Nations game.
