Metro Cup – April 21st under lights in castle ave before a large crowd Tarf overcame DLSP 19-15 in a highly entertaining and skillful contest to win the metro
Leinster Plate – April 27th – in the semi final tarf defeated Barnhall 29 19 away and progressed to the final.
May 4th – The final was in Naas against Cill Dara. Playing up the hill and against a gale force wind we went into the break 12 – 7 down. However in the second half and with the elements on our side tarf scored 5 tries to come home convincing 40 -12 winners.
May 14th – a very enjoyable social occassion, ( organised by Philip O’ Quigley ) was held in the club to wrap up and celebrate a very successful season. Well done to all the players involved and many thanks to the parents who turned out each week through hail rain and snow providing support, lifts etc!
