As President of Clontarf FC, in it’s 149th year, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our members, players, supporters, visiting teams & match officials to Castle Avenue for the 2025/26 season.
It is both an honour and a privilege to be elected as President of our great Club and I look forward to representing all sections of Clontarf FC in the coming season.
Looking back at last season, I couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished. From nail-biting wins to incredible teamwork, on and off the pitch, our players, coaches, physios, and managers all showed extraordinary commitment that resulted in an unprecedented haul of trophies, including the two main All-Ireland titles. These trophies are a testament to the hard work and dedication of countless Clontarf Rugby personnel over many years. To each of you, a sincere “thank you”.
Speaking of last season, I would also like to acknowledge and congratulate the Clontarf Bulls, our additional needs team, on their selection as Medal Presenters at the URC Final in Croke Park in June. What an occasion and a brilliant way to sign off on an incredible year in Clontarf.
As we head into this new season, I would like to wish our Head Coach, Andy Wood, Club Captain Dylan Donnellan, our Women’s Captain Vinita Atkins and their teams all the best for the year ahead. Also, to all our teams in Senior, Junior, Minis, Youths and Bulls Rugby together with their back-room personnel, here’s to a successful and enjoyable year ahead.
