It is always pleasing when a project begins on site. This week the heavy machinery moved in to begin enabling works. Establishing, securing and protecting underground services was task No. 1 and was completed effectively and efficiently.
This project is one of the most exciting developments of club infrastructure since its foundation in 1876. It will transform our club. We appreciate the understanding of all teams that the back pitch had to be given over for these vital works.
The fundraising committee have been working hard behind the scenes. Members, Sponsors, Players, Friends, Coaches, Managers, Parents & many others have generously pledged, helped with and contributed to the fundraising target of €210k.
As we come close to beginning the project on site it is now time for all those who have generously pledged money to make their payment. We have great momentum and are well on the way towards the target.
For those who have not yet pledged or contributed we look forward to hearing from you. Every donation counts and will assist in realising a facility that will contribute to the rugby at all levels in the club for decades to come.
There are a variety a methods to pay as follows;

- Make an Electronic Funds Transfer through the bank.
Donations in excess of €250* will automatically entitle the Club to reclaim taxes. This means that a donation of €600* becomes €1000 for the club at no additional cost to the donor.
