As the season draws to a close Clontarf Youth Teams are still involved at the business end of some of the Youth Cups:
U13s – Having won the Leinster Schools/Youth league in January, the U13s are now involved in both the Metro Cup and the Metro League. On Sunday 15th April they take on Seapoint in the Semi-Final of the Metro Cup. They have won 5 from 5 in the Metro league and have two more teams to play; Terenure away and Malahide at home. We wish them the best in their final games of a commendable season.
U17s – This comprises mostly of players in transition year in secondary school with a few young fifth years and a few older third years. This squad won the Schools/Youth League in January and have progressed to the Semi-Final of the Schools/Youth Cup. They take on a quality Lansdowne side at a neutral venue (Anglesea Road, Old Belvedere) at 12noon on Sunday 15th April.
U19s – Barnhall await Clontarf U19s in the Semi-Final of the Metro Cup. This is likely to take place on Wednesday 18th April in Castle Avenue. KO and definite venue to be confirmed.
