The Bull Fundraiser Walk took place on Saturday the 12th of May starting at the clubhouse at Castle Avenue at 2pm.
The event was a great success thanks to Michael Fitzsimons and his determination in drawing the best from CCC and CFC. The rugby club would like to extend its gratitude to members of both clubs who assisted Michael in organising the event and to those who contributed and participated. A special thanks goes to all those volunteers from every section of both clubs who helped with the planning and running of the event. Over €21,500 was raised and there were further pledges of money which should bring the grand total to €25,000.
The funds are to be spent on improving the facilities common to both clubs. It is envisaged that the fundraiser will continue next season.
