LONDON IRISH
Well done to all who took part in what was a great trip. As coaches we are grateful for the support from all the parents, and we appreciate the way the lads stepped up on the day. It was a really valuable experience for them. Mostly we are proud of the way they behaved. Jen Brewerton, who organised the billeting of the kids, has asked us to pass on the following message:
“Speaking personally and on behalf of all the London Irish parents that
hosted your boys, I can honestly say that it was both an honour and a
pleasure to have your boys – they are real ambassadors, for your
country, your club and for rugby.”
Not much we can add to that!
That’s it on the playing front for this season. We may have the option of giving the lads a run in DCU Sports Centre with one of the sports science students, but details are unclear as yet and it’s not confirmed. If it happens places will be limited so a quick response will be needed. We’ll be in touch.
