Clontarf compete in the IRFU Leinster Branch Dublin City Area league, which are at the fun/social end of rugby in the Club. Matches are well organised, competitive and extremely enjoyable for players of all abilities, age and levels of fitness. Playing with the 4ths, 5ths and 6ths is a great way to become involved in the social side of rugby as well as enjoying the on field action.
The 4ths compete in Division 5, The 5ths compete in Division 9 and the 6ths compete in Division 11.
Match day squads have 20 players including 5 rolling subs allowing players to get a breather as necessary. Enjoyable, fun and active training sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7.15pm to 8.45pm with matches on Saturday afternoons from September to April.
