Clontarf pick up the Club of the Year Award at the Guinness Rugby Writers Awards
Clontarf were awarded Club of the Year at the annual Guinness Rugby Writers awards, held in the Guinness Storehouse on the 11th November.
The Rugby Writers of Ireland voted for Clontarf in recognition of a stellar season in 2013-14 which saw them win their first ever All-Ireland League, after coming so close for so many years.
In addition to this achievement, they also beat the world famous Barbarians FC 43-42 in a game organised to mark the 1000 year anniversary of the Battle of Clontarf.
