HARRY BROOKS WINS NATIONAL VOLUNTEER IN SPORT AWARD

At the inaugural National Volunteer in Sport Awards ceremony, our own Harry Brooks won an award in recognition of his outstanding services to Clontarf Rugby Club, stretching back over the past fifty three years.

The awards committee, chaired by Olympian Ronnie Delaney, selected Harry and seven other deserving recipients from hundreds of nominations received from the various sports governing bodies throughout the country.

John O'Donoghue, Minister for Arts, Sports and Tourism presented Harry with his award at an awards banquet held in the magnificient surroundings of Farmleigh, in the Phoenix Park.

Congratulations Harry,  well deserved!
